Once upon a time, in a cozy little town, the first snow of winter began to fall. Soft, fluffy snowflakes danced down from the sky, covering the ground in a sparkling blanket of white. Lucy and her little brother, Max, ran to the window, their faces pressed against the glass.
“Look, Max! It’s snowing!” Lucy shouted, her eyes shining with excitement.
“I want to make a snowman!” Max replied, bouncing on his toes.
With warm coats, hats, and mittens on, Lucy and Max rushed outside. The world was magical, with snowflakes swirling all around them. They giggled as they crunched through the snow, feeling it tickle their noses.
“Let’s start with a big snowball for the bottom,” Lucy suggested. Together, they rolled a giant ball of snow until it was the size of Max. It was heavy, but they laughed and pushed until it settled on the ground, ready for the next layer.
Next, they made a smaller snowball for the middle and a tiny one for the head. Max carefully placed a carrot for the nose and found two shiny buttons for the eyes. “Now he needs a smile!” Lucy said, adding a curved twig for the snowman’s grin.
As they admired their creation, they noticed something special. Other kids in the neighborhood were also building snowmen, and soon, everyone gathered in the park, sharing laughter and joy.
That day, they learned that snowmen were not just about snow but about friends coming together. As the sun began to set, Lucy and Max snuggled close to their snowman, proud of their work and the fun they shared.
