Once upon a time, in a sunny little town, there lived a cheerful parrot named Jack. Jack was no ordinary parrot; he had bright green feathers and a voice that could make anyone smile. He loved to tell jokes and share laughter with everyone around him.
One sunny morning, Jack decided to fly over to the nearby park. As he soared through the sky, he could see children playing, families having picnics, and dogs running around with their owners.
“Time to share some giggles!” Jack chirped excitedly.
He perched on a bench and called out, “Knock, knock!” The children looked around, surprised to hear a talking parrot.
“Who’s there?” they replied, curious.
“Lettuce!” Jack exclaimed.
“Lettuce who?” the children asked, giggling with anticipation.
“Lettuce have some fun today!” Jack finished, and the park filled with laughter.
Jack continued to tell silly jokes, making everyone laugh. But then, he noticed a little girl sitting alone on a swing, looking sad.
“Why so glum, little one?” he asked, flying closer.
“I lost my favorite toy,” she said, her eyes filling with tears.
“How about a joke to cheer you up?” Jack offered, hoping to bring a smile to her face.
The girl nodded slowly, her curiosity piqued.
“What do you call a bear with no teeth?” Jack asked playfully.
“I don’t know?” she replied, her frown fading a little.
“A gummy bear!” Jack shouted, and the girl giggled for the first time that day.
With a bright smile, she jumped off the swing and joined the other children. They all laughed together, and Jack felt a warm glow in his heart knowing he had helped her.
As the sun began to set, Jack waved goodbye to his new friends. “Remember,” he said with a wink, “a little laughter can brighten anyone's day!”
When Jack returned home, his family was thrilled to see him. “Welcome back, Jack!” his mom said. “Did you make new friends today?”
“Yes! I told them jokes and made them laugh!” Jack replied, his eyes sparkling with joy.
His family gathered around, eager to hear his funny stories. Jack shared all the jokes he had told in the park, and soon they were all laughing together.
Jack felt warm inside, surrounded by his loving family. He knew that laughter was the best way to bring everyone together.
