Once upon a time in a small village, there was a cheerful snowman named Mr. Flurry. He had a bright orange carrot for a nose, coal for eyes, and a lovely red scarf wrapped snugly around his neck. Mr. Flurry loved to stand tall in the village square, watching the children play and hearing their laughter.
One sunny morning, Mr. Flurry noticed something strange. The sun was shining very brightly, and he could feel himself getting warmer. “Oh dear,” he thought, “I can feel myself dripping!” As the sunbeams danced around him, drops of water began to trickle down his snowy body.
The children, who had just come out to play, noticed Mr. Flurry’s predicament. “Look! Mr. Flurry is dripping!” shouted Lily, a little girl with bright, sparkling eyes. The other children gathered around, worried about their friend.
“Don’t worry, my dear friends,” Mr. Flurry said with a smile that melted just a little bit away. “I know the sun is warm, but I am happy to share my last moments with you. Let’s make the most of this beautiful day!”
The children were sad but wanted to cheer up their snowy friend. They decided to have a wonderful party right there in the village square. They brought out their favourite games, snacks, and music. They played tag, built little snow forts with the snow that was still around, and even made snow angels together.
As they played, Mr. Flurry felt a warm glow in his heart. He realised that even though he was melting, he was creating beautiful memories that would last forever. The laughter of the children made him feel alive and loved.
As the sun began to set, Mr. Flurry was just a small pile of snow, but he felt happy. “Remember me,” he said, “and keep the joy of our day in your hearts.”
The children promised they would never forget. They waved goodbye to Mr. Flurry, knowing that true happiness comes from the moments we share with loved ones.
And in that small village, every winter, the children would build a new snowman, and they would always tell stories about the wonderful Mr. Flurry, who taught them the meaning of joy and friendship.
And with that, they all drifted off to sleep, dreaming of snowy adventures and warm smiles. The end.
