Once upon a time, in a sunny little town, there lived a cheerful parrot named Jack. Jack was not just any parrot; he could talk and tell the funniest jokes! With his bright green feathers and a cheerful squawk, he loved to make everyone laugh.
One sunny morning, Jack decided to fly over to the nearby park. He spread his colorful wings and soared high into the sky. As he landed on a tall tree, he saw children playing, families having picnics, and people walking their dogs. Jack's eyes sparkled with excitement.
“Time to share some giggles!” he chirped.
Jack hopped down from the tree and perched on a nearby bench. He cleared his throat and said, “Knock, knock!” The children looked around, surprised. “Who’s there?” they replied, curious.
“Lettuce!” Jack exclaimed.
“Lettuce who?” the children asked, giggling already.
“Lettuce have some fun today!” Jack finished, and the park filled with laughter.
Jack continued with more jokes. “Why did the scarecrow win an award?” he asked.
“Why?” the children shouted back.
“Because he was outstanding in his field!” Jack cackled, and everyone burst into laughter again.
As the day went on, Jack made friends with everyone in the park. He told silly jokes about fish who couldn’t swim and turtles that danced. The more he joked, the happier everyone felt.
But then Jack noticed a little girl sitting alone on a swing. She looked sad. Jack flew over to her and asked, “Why so glum, little one?”
“I lost my favorite toy,” she said with a frown.
Jack thought for a moment. “How about I tell you a joke to cheer you up?” he said.
The girl nodded.
“What do you call a bear with no teeth?” Jack asked.
“I don’t know?” she replied, curious.
“A gummy bear!” Jack shouted, and the girl giggled for the first time that day.
With a smile on her face, she joined the other children, and they all laughed together. Jack felt warm inside, knowing he had helped.
As the sun began to set, Jack waved goodbye to his new friends. “Remember,” he said, “a little laughter can brighten anyone's day!”
And with that, Jack flew home, his heart full of joy, ready for another day of fun and laughter.
The end.
