Once upon a time, in a lush green jungle, there lived a gentle elephant named Ellie. Ellie was not an ordinary elephant; she had a special love for flowers. Every morning, she would wander through the jungle, her big ears flapping in the warm breeze, searching for the most beautiful blooms.
One sunny day, Ellie decided to pick some flowers for her friend, Leo the lion. Leo was feeling a bit sad because he had lost his favourite toy, a bright red ball. Ellie thought that a bouquet of lovely flowers might cheer him up.
As she walked along the winding path, Ellie saw many flowers. There were bright yellow daisies, soft pink roses, and even some purple orchids! Each flower seemed to dance in the sunlight, inviting Ellie to pick them. She carefully chose a few of each colour, making sure to leave some for the other animals.
While Ellie was picking flowers, she heard a soft whimpering sound. Curious, she followed the sound and found a tiny rabbit stuck in a bush. The little rabbit had big, sad eyes and was struggling to free himself.
“Oh dear!” said Ellie, “Don’t worry, I’ll help you!” With her strong trunk, she gently lifted the branches and freed the little rabbit.
“Thank you, Ellie!” squeaked the rabbit, his ears twitching with joy. “I thought I would be stuck forever!”
Ellie smiled, feeling happy to have helped. “You’re welcome! Now I have to get these flowers to Leo. He’s feeling a bit down.”
The rabbit’s eyes lit up. “I can help! Let’s pick some flowers together, and we can take them to him!”
So, they worked together, and soon they had a beautiful bouquet filled with all the lovely colours of the jungle. With the rabbit hopping beside her, Ellie made her way to Leo’s den.
When they arrived, Leo looked surprised to see his friends. “What’s this?” he asked, his eyes widening.
“A surprise for you!” said Ellie, holding out the flowers. “We picked these just for you!”
Leo’s frown turned into a big smile. “Thank you, Ellie and little rabbit! These are beautiful! You made my day!”
And from that day on, Ellie learned that sharing kindness and helping others could bring happiness, not just to them, but to herself too. After all, the best flowers bloom in the heart!
And so, they all laughed and played together, surrounded by the beauty of friendship.
